IAN STEWART, BA, MBA, ACC

Ian is a co-founder of Eden Park Group.

Ian likes helping people.  As a coach, Ian is a quick study of people and situations and is effective at helping people identify how their strengths, values, and interests work together.  Ian is an adept facilitator who focuses his clients on developing self-confidence, purpose, and direction in the pursuit of their personal goals.

Before he co-founded Eden Park Group, Ian was the co-founder of Stewart Clyde Consulting, a strategic consulting and business coaching firm he co-founded in 2002 while completing his MBA.  Before this, Ian worked at CIBC in various roles starting as a Business Analyst in the technology group of the Investment Bank and ending as Director of National Sales in the Retail Bank managing a mobile sales force of 100 people.  Ian has a strong consulting, sales, project management/technology, general management, and leadership background.

Ian is a thoughtful consultant and strategist with an interest and expertise in the areas of corporate strategy and organizational development/change.  Ian’s diverse background has given him a keen understanding about how organizational change impacts people, teams, and leadership.  Ian is very good at evaluating and triangulating the complexities and politics of change and helping people develop positive strategies for managing and dealing with change.

Ian received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management’s Joint-Degree program with the Schulich School of Business (Northwestern University & York University) and holds a BA Degree from the University of Toronto, Trinity College.  Recently, Ian has been taking an MSc in Organizational Psychology through the University of London (UK) to complement his development as a professional coach.

Ian holds the ACC designation as a Professional Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and completed his training through the Professional Coaching Program at the Adler Graduate Professional School (Toronto). Ian is also certified and qualified to administer the Strong Interest Inventory®, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI) Step I and Step II, HOGAN assessments (including advanced interpretation of sub-scales) and TKI®.

In the community, Ian is an advocate for disabled adults in the workforce, and provides support to senior citizens.
